Matt：No idea. Something to do with babies? You always say "sweet" when you're talking about babies.
麥特：猜不到。是和嬰兒有關的嗎？你談到嬰兒，總是說「甜蜜」。
Wanda：No, it was to do with the young couple that have just taken the apartment below ours.
旺達：不是，我說的是剛搬到我們樓下居住的那對年輕夫婦。
Matt：Oh I know. They were due to move in today. Did you see them?
麥特：啊，我知道。他們定了今天搬進來。你看見他們嗎？
Wanda：Yes, but where had they come from?
旺達：不錯。他們是從哪裡來的？
Matt：I don't know. Have they been on vacation?
麥特：我不知道。他們剛剛度假回來嗎？
Wanda：Well, sort of. They've just come back from their honeymoon.
旺達：可以這樣說。他們剛剛度蜜月回來。
Matt：So what? So have lots of other couples I'm sure.
麥特：那又怎樣？很多新婚夫婦都會去度蜜月的啦。
Wanda：But he carried her over the threshold. I saw them. Wasn't that romantic?

多學一點點 跨過門檻
麥特和旺達談到鄰居，問他們是不是剛剛度假回來，旺達說：Well, sort of。Sort of或kind of是「差不多」、「有點兒」的意思，多見於口頭，例如：He's kind of disappointed with the result（他對結果有點失望）。
麥特以為旺達稱讚鄰居「甜蜜」，只是因為他們新婚之後去度蜜月，就說：So what? So have lots of other couples I am sure。So what? 即「那又怎樣？」有「這樣的事何足道哉」含義，例如：If he resigns, so what? We can always find someone to replace him（假如他辭職，那又怎樣？我們不難找人接替）。
留意So have lots of other couples這說法。「So+助動詞(auxiliary verb)+主詞(subject)」，常用來表示「某某也是如此」，「so＋主詞＋助動詞」，則常用來表示「啊，確實如此」，往往帶驚訝意味，兩個句式切勿混淆，例如：(1) "I am single." "So is she."（「我還未婚。」「她也是。」）(2) "This document shows that she is still single." "So she is!"（「看這份文件，她還未婚。」「啊，她竟然還未結婚！」）
旺達認為「甜蜜」的，其實是新郎抱著新娘跨過門檻：He carried her over（或across）the threshold。西方有一個習俗，就是新郎和新娘初到新居，應抱新娘入門。這傳統的來源有兩個說法。一是惡魔通常伏在門檻下，新郎抱著新娘跨過去，可以保護新娘。另一個說法是，新娘初次入門，假如被門檻絆倒，婚姻即告不祥。為免不祥，新郎自然要抱新娘入門。
